Here at Fron Goch, our restaurant is the perfect place to meet up with family and friends.
Relax and enjoy yourself in comfort and treat yourself to some of our homemade meals and cakes.
Our Approach to Cooking
All our meals are cooked here in our own kitchens.
We use local suppliers that we know and trust for our meat and vegetables- for example our beef is supplied by our local butcher in Caernarfon from stock exclusively reared in Gwynedd & Anglesey.
All of our cakes, tray bakes, gatuex and cheescakes are baked here, on site in our kitchens, which is why they are so fresh and tasty.
Scones are baked throughout the day and are often still warm when we serve them.
Your Fron Goch breakfast is all locally sourced and is served from 09.15am to 11:15am Monday to Saturday & 09:30am to 11:15am on Sundays.
Tasty, Fresh Hot Lunches
Choose your meal from our hot plate, served everyday 11.45am to 2.30pm, including vegetarian/vegan options and gluten free gravy.
Whether you fancy a fluffy jacket potato, a toasted panini, flavoursome focaccia, freshly filled sandwich or baguette, with the options available, you won't go hungry! Or maybe a homemade soup or freshly baked quiche takes your fancy? Every day there are different flavor combinations for you to choose from, along with some traditional options, and all are served from 11.30am to 3.30pm.
Or why not help yourself to our salad bar, perfect for a healthy lunch with an array of freshly prepared options available from 11am to 4pm.
Our Famous Fron Goch roast carvery is served on Thursdays and Sundays 11.45am to 2.30pm with a choice of meats and plenty of fresh vegetables and trimmings for you to choose from.
Afternoon Tea for Two
This really is a treat and served daily from 2:30pm to 4.30pm ( 4pm on Sundays)
Our Afternoon Tea includes sandwiches, scones with lashings of jam and clotted cream, bara brith and our special homemade cream cakes.
You won't need to make supper after this! Why not go all out, make an afternoon of it and add some sparkling Prosecco?
Indulge in freshly baked scones, clotted cream and your choice of jam, served all day, every day!
We consciously try to create healthy offerings and cater for many dietary requirements.
Coeliac or intolerant - we have many gluten free options every day, and can help and advise what is and isn't suitable for you.
Vegetarians or vegans be it food or cake, we ensure that there are a variety of different choices for you to enjoy and we can use soya milk to make any of the hot drinks we offer.
Everyone is welcome!
We have a large seating area which has excellent facilities for children, disabled and elderly visitors.
Enjoy our children's corner where if you're lucky they'll entertain themselves whilst you have lunch.
Enjoy our cosy area and grab a chair next to the fire, perfect for that damp day when you need to get out.
We don't take bookings, and there is usually plenty of room but please come early on busy days, for example, bank holidays and special occasions like Mother's Day.
